SURPRISED AND GRATEFUL (I DON’T WANT TO BE DAVE GROHL ANYMORE) (E A D F G E)

 

 Before we get into the music I'd like to thank radarbackwards for taking the reins over the last few days while Joey appeared in court over a number of minor traffic violations. We're glad he got off with a few hours of community service, although Joey insists he already offers a major contribution to the community with this blog. Whatever happens, at least he's not in jail!

 

So, thanks radarbackwards. We really enjoyed the change of pace and are sure everyone at home appreciated the slightly more listenable recordings and aesthetically pleasing videos. You now hold the keys to the kingdom by way of username and password, so, as they say, "No more secret songs, Kurt Cobain!"

Now, back to our regular programming!

 

I didn’t set an alarm because I thought the house might blow away. Or be flooded. Or catch fire.

So, when I woke up with the sun in my eyes and you in my arms, I was surprised and grateful.

And I kept thinking.

And I keep thinking:

I don’t want to be Dave Grohl anymore.
