I CAN’T ALWAYS KEEP MY COOL (E A D G B E)
I can’t always keep my cool. I can’t tell you what to do.
You know what I’ll say. You know where I’ll be. And you’re always there in front of me.
I can’t always not break down. You hang on my head like a cloud.
But clouds clear away and thunderstorms pass. We can’t decide when it does.
And when it does we will dry off.
I can’t always say the right thing. You can’t use me to feel better.
What can I say? What can I do? You can’t use me.
To make it go away.
I can’t carry your grief today. I can’t tell you what to do.
I can’t always keep my cool.
I can’t always keep my cool.
