RUNNY NOSE (E A D G B E, capo 1)
I’d rather have a runny nose than a blocked a nose. It took a while but it all changed in an instant.
You don’t look different but I wasn’t gone that long. If I don’t get better I’ll stay home.
Yesterday I was leaving. And today I am returning.
I know now where I’m going. The sun is rising; the wind is blowing.
I know where we’re going.
And when they ask me what I am doing here I’ll take your hand and we’ll float.
I know now some things won’t. Some things will.
Sometimes we’ll not know why. Not better or any less unkind.
I’d rather have a runny nose than a blocked nose.
