THINKING ABOUT FLYING (E A D G B E, capo 2)
It only feels like falling once you start thinking about flying. You only feel like leaving once you know that you’re arriving. You’re only scared of tomorrow when you’re busy worrying about yesterday. You only want to hold it once it’s already blown away. And you only hold your breath when you’re thinking about dying. It only gets harder when you’re sick of trying. You’re only scared of the dark once you’ve seen the sun rising. It only feels like falling once you know that you’re flying.
