Now I'm falling down

NOW I’M FALLING DOWN (E A D G B E)

Under pine trees, watch the bluebirds. They’re singing songs you’ve heard before. The dark blue sky is slowing lifting. It shows a path you know.

Through the grass you’re slowly walking. Your heart beats strong with every step. The hairs on your arms softly blowing as the breeze kisses your neck.

I waited so long I forgot how to watch the stars come out. I got so stuck I thought I was alright but now I’m falling down. Now I’m falling down.

Underwater everything hears you. You break the surface and laugh out loud. Your shoulders glimmer in the moonlight. The rocks are wet and cool.

Lying on the grass you count the stars as they spin round your head. In the distance you hear thunder as a bright light fills the sky.

I felt so sure I’m sure now I was only spinning round. I climbed a mountain, forgot how I found it, and now I’m falling down. Now I’m falling down. Now I’m falling down.

Now I’m falling down.
