WHEN I’M AN OLD LADY (E A D G B E, capo 1)
When I’m an old lady I’ll wake up real early and watch as the sun comes up. In the backyard on the cold wet grass. And the morning is quiet and still.

When I’m an old lady I’ll never be lonely because I’ll catch up with friends all the time. I’ll see them at the beach. I’ll see them at the shops. I’ll meet them for lunch if they want.

When I’m an old lady I’ll try to stay healthy and keep moving every day. I’ll practice tai chi and take walks around the block. Maybe swim laps every now and then.

When I’m an old lady I’ll probably go crazy though I already think I might have. I’ll smile every day and laugh when life gets strange. I’ll be grateful for what I’ve got.
