HEY MUM, THANKS FOR THE PEN (E A D G B E)

Hey Mum, thanks for this pen. You probably can’t tell but I’m using it now to write this.

It’s blue and that seems apt. Though, if it were me I would’ve picked black. But it’s fine, I don’t mind.

It’s true, I don’t like change. And using a new pen makes me feel strange, but I wanted to. It’s just what I would do for you. I’d go black and blue for you.

 

And I feel bad my handwriting isn’t neater. But I know yours isn’t either. We’re both trying to get better. Its why I’m writing a song and not a letter.
