BIG HEAVY (D A D G B E)

Big Heavy came today. Even the sun ran away.

Windows shook and front doors slammed. He always knows where I am.

 

Big Heavy sat next to me. In my car, we drove down the street.

Turned whenever he told me. Eventually stopped by the sea.

 

Big Heavy stood on the grass. Watching as the ships rolled past.

Turned his head and smiled at me. Didn’t seem so big or heavy.
