IT FEELS LIKE I CAN’T (D G D G B E, capo 2)
Open my chest like a cupboard full of things we bought years ago and forgot about.
Close every door you can but leave the windows just enough for someone to climb through.
It feels like I can’t but it’s just my mind playing tricks.
I hop over a puddle and it starts to rain.
I stayed in the water until my legs weren’t sore and when I got to the beach everyone had changed.
And it feels like I can’t but it’s just my mind. It feels like I can’t.
